HOT: P. Diddy and Cassie are Back Together. AGAIN!

He and Cassie have reunited despite last week’s heated exchange.


As previously reported, Cassie’s mother called police after the Bad Boy boss reportedly took the singer-model’s phone with suspicions of infidelity. By the time Beverly Hills cops arrived, Puff had returned the cell.

No crime was committed, but Cassie did file a domestic incident report.


Since then, the two have patched things up, according to TMZ.

On Friday night, the couple was all smiles as they celebrated Cassie’s 30th birthday with close friends including Khloé Kardashian. Diddy presented his girlfriend with a cake and serenaded her with ‘Happy Birthday.’

He posted a video montage of Cassie on Instagram along with a sweet message.

OMG: Olamide Thinks He is Fela Kuti But His Wrong, and Here’s Why

Like he boastfully said, he needs not 'hustle for that shit' by paying for international collaborations just for the sake of them, because he is doing just fine.

Olamide‘s career has been phenomenal. He has defied the odds stacked against him as a kid with aspirations growing up in the mean streets of Bariga to an elite rapper in the music industry.

However, just like in every career, aspirations don’t end, as almost every individual desire to reach heights that are considered greatest.Thenetng wrote about what might be required of Olamide and his protege, Lil Kesh to take their music to the next level on the international front.
And in a bid to address the need for international collaborations, the rapper told Hip TV in a new interview that he isn’t desperate to work with any international act.
‘Fela didn’t even do any international collaboration before they recognised Fela in the international market. It’s not about hustling for that shit, I won’t hustle for that shit. Everywhere I’ve been to right now, is based on grace of God — I just wanna hustle for my stuff, live my dream — we are not bothered‘, he said.

‘To hustle for anyone to be on my track, that’s a no, no. I’m on my Fela P right now. Fela didn’t hustle for anybody to be on his track, he lived his life. He made his music, and when he died, they started copying his style.’
Well said Olamide, but the comparison of his career to that of Fela Anikulapo-Kuti is unfounded because, though few, Fela actually had international collaborations.
Fela worked with Roy Ayers, a soul jazz and funk musician from Los Angeles, United States on the latter’s 1980 album, Music of Many Colors.

Fela was also prominently featured on British drummer, Ginger Baker‘s album, Stratavarious in 1972, while the Afrobeat pioneer appeared in a major Amnesty International concert with Carlos Santana in 1986. American Jazz trumpeter, Lester Bowie was also a collaborator on Fela’s 1977 No Agreement album.

Truthfully, the impact of the few collaborations on Abami-Eda’s career are negligible, as his legendary status would still be intact without them, but they were still significant moments in Fela’s career.While it’s not to say that Olamide’s chance at achieving international acclaim is solely dependent on how many foreign acts he can lock himself in the recording booth with, having an international appeal with his music is a win-win.

Top 10 August Sneaker Releases

The Summer Olympics are upon us and brands across the board are looking to cash in on the patriotism of sneakerheads who want to support the USA, despite the fact that many of them probably won't be tuning in for the Men's 400M Individual Medley or the Women's Single Sculls Rowing event. 

Needless to say, there are plenty of "USA" colorways of sneakers releasing this month, including a special edition "Olympic" Air Jordan 7 that Michael Jordan originally turned down in favor of the classic "Olympic" 7s that he wore during the Dream Team's run in 1992. 

Additionally, Jordan Brand and Adidas will be releasing some more inclusive Olympic-themed kicks inspired by the medals that will be handed out throughout the next two weeks. 

There are plenty of sneakers dropping in August but we've narrowed the list down to our 10 favorites- hit the slides to see what release dates you need to keep your eye on. 

Note: The "Barons" Air Jordan 12 GS, as the name suggests, will only be releasing up to a size 9.5 so I've kept it off the list. That said, it's definitely one of the best sneakers releasing this month so if you can squeeze into a 9.5, you can find everything you need to know about that release right here.

Patoranking Explains Why He Titled His Album ‘GOD OVER EVERYTHING’

Nigerian singer, Patoranking who dropped his debut studio album, ‘God Over Everything’ very recently, in a recent interview with Thenetng revealed the reason behind the album title.

The ace dancehall/reggae singer said that his strong belief in the power of God largely influenced the choice of the album title.

I want people to know that amidst having fun, love and the rest, God still comes first, hence the choice of the name, GOD OVER EVERYTHING . The album is about love, God, my life, where I come from and where I am headed’
Patoranking said.

WAEC Releases May/June 2016 WASSCE Results

The West African Examinations (WAEC) has announced the release of its 2016 May/June West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) on Friday, August 5, 2016.

The examinations body announced that it withheld the results of 137,295 candidates, representing 8.89 per cent of those who took the examinations

The announcement was made on Friday in Lagos by the Head, Nigeria National Office, Olu Adenipekun, who also explained that the withheld results are in connection with various cases of examination malpractice.

Adenipekun also said a total of eight hundred and seventy eight thousand and forty (878,040) candidates, representing 52.97%, obtained credits in five (5) subjects and above, including English Language and Mathematics.

He added: “A total of 1,014,573 candidates, representing 65.70 per cent obtained six credits and above, 1,167,484 candidates, representing 75.60 per cent obtained five credits and above. While 1,282,204 candidates, representing 83.03 per cent obtained credit and above in four subjects.”

“1,370,049 candidates, representing 88.72 per cent obtained credit and above in three subjects, 1,438,679 candidates, representing 93.16 per cent obtained credit and above in two subjects.”
