At long last, Instagram's old-school icon is going away in favor of something more modern — a lot more modern. Instagram announced today that it's introducing a colorful new icon for its main app, as well as matching icons for apps like Layout and Hyperlapse.

Instagram's app is also receiving a redesign. It's adopting the simplified black-and-white look that we got an early showing of the other week. Instagram says the new look starts rolling out today.

Nollywood actress, Halima Abubakar has revealed that she will never get married.

She said she perceives marriage as a bitter venture as those who are in it are miserable, noting that people go into it happy and become sad afterwards.

Posting on her Instagram account @halimabubakar, the 30-year-old actress added that people only pretend that marriage is rosy.

She wrote, “I don’t want to ever get married.

“Those in it are miserable, forget the smiling; go in happy, you become sad just like that.

“I did not ask you not to marry, if you are happy then amazing.

“My opinion should not affect you,” the actress added.

In a chat with Billboard magazine, Tennis star Serena Williams has shared how she got to be a part of Beyoncé’s visual album “Lemonade”.

She said:

“I have known the director since I was like nine years old. I know Beyoncé pretty well, so they were like, ‘We would love for you to be in this particular song. It’s about strength and it’s about courage, and that’s what we see you as. She told me that she just wants me to dance, like just be really free and just dance like nobody’s looking and go all out. So that wasn’t easy in the beginning, but then it got easier. … I thought that particular song on the visual album was really a strong song, and it was also really fun at the same time.”

Serena Williams’ appearance came on the song “Sorry,” which features Beyoncé showing her man the stupidity of his cheating ways.
