Lil Wayne Apologizes For Black Lives Matter comments

Wayne explains why he dissed Black Lives Matter on Nightline.

Hours after standing by his rant against the Black Lives Matter movement, Lil Wayne has apologized for the comments.

Wayne explained to TMZ that he was upset by host Lindsay Davis's line of questioning about his daughter. "When the reporter began asking me questions about my daughter being labeled a bitch and a hoe, I got agitated," he said. "From there, there was no thought put into her questions and my responses."

He extended the following apology: "Apologies to anyone who was offended."

Davis asked Wayne if he would be offended if someone called his daughter a "bitch" or a "hoe," as he has called many women in his music. Later in the interview, Wayne rubbed many viewers the wrong way when he said he doesn't care about the Black Lives Matter movement and added that anyone who does is "crazy as shit." "My life matter, especially to my bitches," he said.

Lil Wayne's new memoir about his time spent in prison, "Gone Til November," hit bookstores and online retailers this past week. If you haven't yet scooped up the book, chances are you've seen excerpts from it, or at least, you've scrolled past a headline or two. Among those headlines, there was a story about Drake sleeping with Weezy F's girl while he was locked up.

Wayne has been doing some press surrounding the book release, and in a new short video clip from a recent interview, the rapper speaks on the incident involving Drake and his girl. At first he's all jokes, alleging he doesn't even remember what the host is talking about, despite several previous interviews asking the same question.

"Please, anybody that know me real well, when you see this, please tweet it and vouch for me-- I have a very, very, very terrible memory. I swear to God, I don't know what y'all talking about. I just did three, four interviews and I just kept it moving, like, yeah, Drake, yeah," Wayne starts.

After he confesses, "Oh, I wasn't worried about that. That's just how life go when you locked up." He adds, "he still be texting me and stuff. Stop texting me too, for real."

Lil Wayne Seizure Forces Emergency Flight Landing

Lil Wayne suffered a seizure during a cross country flight, forcing his private jet to make an emergency landing in Nebraska. Wayne was flying from Milwaukee, Wisconsin to California when the seizure struck, reports gathered shows he'd blacked out when the pilot put the jet down Monday afternoon in Omaha.

Paramedics are at the airstrip right now, and Wayne is alert again. We're told he's refusing medical treatment.

The same thing happened to Weezy in 2012 ... when his private jet made emergency landings two days in a row. He also suffered seizures in 2013 -- one of which was nearly fatal.
