VIDEO: Eve Shares First Time Husband Maximillion Cooper Saw Her Without A Weave

Eve has stayed primarily out of the limelight and sadly hasn’t released any new material since 2013’s Lip Lock despite reprising her role as Terri in Barbershop 3: The Next Cut in April.

This week, she added co-host to her name after landing a week gig on Fox’s daytime talk show The Real.

When asked about her ongoing marriage to Maximillion Cooper, the former pitbull in a skirt shares:

“As a partnership, you kind of switch roles sometimes and I think that it’s interchangeable. There are certain things that my man, I wouldn’t be with my man if he couldn’t check me. He’d be the one to make me smile a little bit more and blush a little bit more.”

During an earlier episode this week, Eve also said that Cooper was the first man to see her without a hair weave.

“I wouldn’t let a guy see me in my braids in that moment, but now I’m like I don’t care,” she said. “It probably happened our first year actually. That’s when I knew I guess we’re staying together. … I was actually in a salon in a little suite and he walked in. I’m like what am I going to do, run?”

Cooper was a former race care driver who eventually went on to create the ultra popular Gumball 3000 event.  The couple tied the knot in Ibiza, Spain in 2014 after being engaged for about a year.

Speaking with HipHopDX Editor-In-Chief Trent Clark during her promotional run for Barbershop 3, Eve spoke about the possibility of releasing new music in the future.

“I will be going in the studio in the next few months—finally,” she said. “But I needed to wait to be inspired. It took a minute but I now I’m completely ready and found where I wanna go and who I wanna work with. And it will still be an experiment because I haven’t been in the studio in a minute but I’m excited about it.”

“ I found condoms in my wife’s bag and she could not give a satisfactory explanation how she came about it,’’ an estranged hubby told an Ibadan Customary Court just as the court dissolved the seven-year-old marriage on Tuesday.
A Mapo Customary Court dissolved the union between Sikiru Alabi and his wife, Basira, on the grounds of prostitution and adultery.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Alabi, an automobile mechanic in Popo Yemoja area of the metropolis had approached the court, seeking an end to his marriage to Basira, a hairdresser at Idi Arere area of the city.

The President of the court, Mr Ademola Odunade, said cheating on the part of a husband or wife was “deadly’’.

He ruled:“It is in view of the circumstances surrounding the issue at hand that the court decided to put an end to the relationship between Alabi and Basira.

“Alabi shall take custody of the five and a half year-old child produced by the union, while Basira should be free to see the child in court anytime she wants.’’

The husband told the court:“Nemesis caught up with her recently when I met a man on her deeply engaged in sexual intercourse right in my house.

“I was mad, but Basira quickly pleaded with me, promising not to do it again.

“Though, I forgave her, but she is still neck deep in adultery.’’

Alabi said Basira was also engaged in prostitution and had continued to rain curses on him and his relatives for her adultery.

Basira, however, did not deny the allegations, saying:“It is true that there is no more love between I and Alabi.’’

Basira pleaded with the court to grant her the custody of the child after dissolving the marriage.
