I am a strong advocate for Made-in-Nigeria products- bags, shoes, accessories and most especially clothes.
Do not get me wrong, I am not an extremely stylish girl but I do love my dresses in the right fitting, holding on to my curves in all the right places and Nigerian designers are great at snatching waists and producing some of the absolute best.
I do not remember precisely when I started falling in Love with Made-in-Nigeria dresses but I know it dates as far back as the time I cleared my entire wardrobe to make space for my dresses which are yet to come *sad face*
At this point, I will like to let the world know what’s on my wishlist, cross my fingers and wait for it to find it’s way to my wardrobe.
Yes am that smart because my Husband-to-be might be reading this and if He is please forget bride price and lets spend that money on some fantastic clothing (Don’t tell my father I said so sha!)
Take a look at 5 Made-in-Nigeria dresses I want in my closet at the moment;
Iconic Invanity tops my list and just in case you were wondering why, this beauty from their Spring/Summer 2015 collection answers all the questions you might want to ask. For me, this is the shut up and stare dress.
This asymmetrical hem dress retails for N135,000 and while some might say that’s a whooping sum, all I can imagine is how perfect it will sit on my curvy body (yes allow me feel myself)
