FULL ALBUM: Kendrick Lamar Dropped a Surprise project ‘Untitled Unmastered’

Top Dawg Entertainment CEO Anthony Tiffith shared a photo on Instagram, hinting that a surprise TDE release would hit the web sometime this week. The ‘Alright’ hitmaker, who dropped his debut ‘Section.80’ in  2011, ‘Good Kid, M.A.A.D City’ (2012) and ‘To Pimp a Butterfly’ last year, took home gongs for Best Rap Album, Best Rap Performance, Best Rap Song, Best Rap/Sung Collaboration and shared the Best Video award with Taylor for their ‘Bad Blood’ collaboration at the recently held Grammys.

It looks like he wasn’t fibbing, as just hours ago Kendrick Lamar’s surprise albumuntitled unmastered. hit streaming platforms and iTunes following a tweet from the Compton MC himself. The rapper has called the album a project rather than an album and the tracks seem to be a set of unreleased tracks from the 2013 and 2014 sessions that birthed To Pimp a Butterfly. At eight tracks long, you can stream the project in full below.
